So as you can see from the front page, I am a young, 18 19 year old designer. I do a lot. From web site mockups to live versions, posters to logos, and even character mockups.
I started doing graphic design in third grade for my profile on neopets. Although without having a graphic program to use, I was forced to download the free-trial versions of almost every available program. Neopets was great for someone starting out because of their HTML help section. Which broke down every basic HTML element and told you why it worked the way it did.
PAST: In high school I took four years of traditional art classes along with one semester of digial art. Everyday I would contasntly wait for a new tutorial to be posted so that I could try out some crazy new technique to advance my skills. I have this sketchbook full of design concepts, so whenever I'm bored, I take it out and design the project digitally.
I am involved in the open government movement. I also am currently creating a series of companies that will help people live greener while saving money, plus there will be some cool apps to make it all fun. I feel like companies that are just looking at getting people to replace things like lightbulbs and toilets in their houses, which is great, but what we really need are people who create apps that make consumers change their HABITS. That's what I'm interested in.
